After-Christmas Tale
Now Christmas is over it's time For me to begin my new rhyme: I'll start rhyming again to kickstart my old brain- (This is my favourite pastime.). The Christmas booze has dulled my brain- I need to be rhyming again- Had too much Christmas drink and it has made me think That-possibly-I should abstain. But first I'll welcome the new year with a toast:either wine or beer, Then I may just refrain from choosing to abstain- I'll just have to play it by ear! Happy New Year!

My second blog.
Have had a slow week: woke up one day with a sore throat, spent the next few days sneezing and coughing but am better now. It was quite nice to be able to stop, sit on the sofa reading a good book and watching 'A Christmas Carol'. My good book was 'Hagitude' by Sharon Blackie, discovered in Waterstones recently. My first blog
So here goes: My first attempt to blog, I’ll do my best. Writing a book, and getting it published, has been a big adventure for me. I’ve been quietly rhyming and playing with words for a long time. Now “A Midsummer Tale” is out there – hopefully it will survive and thrive! I love the rhyming process, especially the rhythm of the limerick: a friend gave me a copy of Michael Palin Limericks years ago: that’s when my love of limericks began.
