About a chair.

I just can't resist an old chair

that's worn out, with much wear and tear.

Even though it's battered,

bedraggled and tattered

it is still worthwhile to repair.

I have got a battered old chair

in need of tender loving care.

But I'm starting to doubt

that I'll ever work out

how to set about this repair.

But one day I will be inspired

to sort out this chair that's so tired.

And I'll know what to do

to restore it to "new".....

Got lots of time, now I'm retired.

And it will happen at some point....watch this space!
