Hello,

Welcome to my website: being quite reclusive, with minimal computer skills, I never expected to be able to say that!

Since childhood – a long time ago – I have wanted to write a children’s book, and to be a published author. But a busy life, and lots of self-doubt about my ability to write, delayed any literary success.

Since retiring, I have had lots of time to play with rhyme and write the book I’ve always wanted to – better late than never!

So, I’m feeling overwhelmed – and happy – to have had my first book published. – I can’t quite believe it! And I’ll keep on rhyming (it is good for my brain) – have already started on the next story…please watch this space!

I was born and brought up in a small town in the Northwest of England, where I still live with my husband and our dog Bracken. I have three daughters and three grandsons.

A part time career working in pre-school playgroups helped to develop a love of rhyming and of picture books, creating a desire to write one of my own.
